Your machine may have an air bubble. Air bubbles can block the flow of water through the spout. They usually occur if the machine is operated without water in the tank or has not been used for a long period.
Eject any capsule, ensure there is water in the tank, and then follow the troubleshooting tips below.
- For machines with a steam arm (C190, D150, D250, D290, D300, Romeo, Maestria, Creatista, Creatista Plus) or cup warmer (Gran Maestria), alternate between pressing a cup button and activating the steam/hot water function until water flows from either outlet. Please be persistent; this might take a few tries.
- For all other OriginalLine machines, press the Lungo (large cup) button, allow it to complete the cycle, then press again. Repeat until water flows from the spout. Please be persistent; this might take a few tries.
- For VertuoLine machines, follow the Cleaning instructions in your User Manual. Please be persistent; this might take a few tries.
